This policy explains what information FoodPick ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, how we use it and the choices you have. FoodPick is a restaurant directory: we don't take orders, process payments or create user accounts.
Information we collect
We don't ask you to enter any personal information to use FoodPick. We collect only limited technical information:
- Usage analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count visits and see which pages and restaurants people click. Umami doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personal information. It records anonymized data such as the page visited, referring website, browser type, device type and approximate country or region.
- Advertising information. If you arrive from an ad, the link may include campaign parameters (for example, a Google click identifier or UTM tags). We may pass these parameters to the restaurant or partner site you choose so that the visit can be attributed to the ad.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit for security and reliability.
Cookies
FoodPick itself doesn't set cookies. Advertising platforms such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies on their own websites and ads, under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad personalization in your Google account at adssettings.google.com.
How we use information
- To operate the website and keep it secure.
- To understand which restaurants and offers are most useful, so we can improve the directory.
- To measure the performance of our advertising.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to build profiles about you.
Restaurant and partner websites
When you click "Order now", you leave FoodPick and go to a restaurant's website or a partner link. Your order, payment details and any account you create there are handled by that website under its own privacy policy and terms. We aren't responsible for how those websites collect or use your information.
Some links on FoodPick are affiliate or partner links. If you visit a restaurant through one of them, we may receive a commission. This doesn't change the price you pay.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children
FoodPick isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data retention and security
We keep analytics data only as long as it's useful for understanding how the site is used. We use reasonable measures to protect the information we have, but no website can guarantee complete security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
